hyphen-gu software package provides Gujarati hyphenation patterns for OpenOffice.org/LibreOffice, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hyphen-gu
hyphen-gu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hyphen-gu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hyphen-gu *
You will get with hyphen-gu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
